The amount of scholarship paid to students for:
Master’s Study Program: stands at CZK 16,000 per month, and 
Doctoral Study Program: stands at CZK 17,000 per month.
 
2. Programs Available: The scholarship is available for follow-up Master’s and Doctoral study programs taught in English and Czech. It also includes a one-year preparatory language course for students who need to learn Czech before starting their main studies.

3. Duration: The scholarship covers the entire duration of the study program, including preparatory courses if needed.
Master’s Study Program: One - Two years and 
Doctoral Study Program: Three - Four years.




Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Czech Government Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Nationality: The scholarship is open to students from selected developing countries. 
  • Eligible Countries: 

    • Belarus,
    • Bosnia and Herzegovina,
    • Cambodia,
    • Ethiopia, 
    • Georgia, 
    • Moldova, 
    • Ukraine, 
    • and Zambia. 

  • Not open to citizens or residents of the Czech Republic or European Union.
2. Educational Background: Applicants should have completed their previous education with excellent academic records. For 
Master’s programs, a Bachelor’s degree is required, and 
Doctoral programs, a Master’s degree is needed.

3. Language Proficiency: Depending on the program, proficiency in either English or Czech is required. Students applying for programs in Czech will need to take a one-year preparatory language course unless they already have a sufficient command of the language.

4. Health and Other Requirements: Applicants must meet health and other administrative requirements, including submitting medical certificates and proof of previous education recognition.
