II. Eligible Programs

The SI grant for Global Professionals is available to students enrolled in around 700 master's programs taught in English. These programs include those in the humanities, agricultural science, natural science, social science, medicine and public health, and technology.

III. Professional Experience Requirements

A. Demonstrated work experience

In order to qualify for the SI Scholarship, you need to be employed. It is not necessary for you to hold a job at the time of application, nevertheless.

Both full-time and part-time jobs, such as those as an employee, independent contractor, or employer, qualify as valid work experience.

B. Demonstrated leadership experience

Priority will be given to work experience that aligns with one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. Get those recommendations either from

ii. from civil society/community engagement

You will receive an eight-digit personal application number from University Admissions once you have submitted your master's application. For your SI Scholarship application, keep this number handy.

If you apply for the SI scholarship and enter the incorrect personal application number, your application will be rejected.

Step 5) Submit SI Scholarship Application:

Once you have the necessary university offer letters, submit your scholarship application through the Swedish Institute portal by the stipulated deadline with supporting documents.

The scholarship application portal will be open from 12 February until 28 February 2024.
